Legal Policy

Introduction

This Legal Policy governs the use of services provided by French Teachers Collective Ltd, a private French tuition company. By engaging our services, you agree to comply with the terms outlined below.

Liability

Personal Liability Insurance: Students must hold valid personal liability insurance covering any damages that might occur during tuition sessions.
Limitations of Liability: French Teachers Collective Ltd is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.

Payment Terms

Payments for lessons can be made only online by credit card or bank transfer.
In order to guarantee good management of the teachers' activity and calendar, lesson bundles are subject to payment at least 48h before the first lesson included in a package.
Lesson packages are non-refundable from the moment they are started.
A request for a refund can be made 48 hours before the beginning of the first lesson by mail to the address info@frenchcollective.co.uk, the course package can be reimbursed up to 40%.

Cancellation and Rescheduling

The introductory block of 3 hours should be booked within a month period. Please note this offer can only be used once and does not apply to learners already registered with French Teachers Collective Ltd.
A block of 6 hours tuition should be booked within a 3 month period. A block of 12 hours tuition should be booked within a 6 month period. A block of 30 hours tuition should be booked within a 9 month period. Otherwise, the lessons included in a package will be lost.
French lessons can be cancelled within 48 hours notice, a charge will be made for the lesson booked if the lesson is not rescheduled the same week.
Lessons can be rescheduled within 24 hours notice - only during the week when the lesson is booked, depending on the teacher's availability. French Teachers Collective reserves the right to charge for the full session if reprogramming is not possible due to a lack of availability of the student and / or the teacher during the week.

Code of Conduct

Behavioral Expectations: Students are required to conduct themselves with the utmost respect and professionalism during all interactions with tutors. Any form of disruptive behavior, including but not limited to disrespectful language, interruptions, or uncooperative attitudes, will not be tolerated and may result in the immediate termination of tutoring services.
Use of Materials: All materials provided during lessons are for personal use only and may not be distributed or used for commercial purposes.

Changes to Policy

French Teachers Collective Ltd reserves the right to amend this Legal Policy at any time. Changes will be communicated via our website, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
